Q: How many people are allowed on boat?
A: 10 is typically the max we allow, but has more to do with weight limit, but sometimes we can make exception if children are on board, etc. as not as much weight as adult. Call us if you have a bigger party size and we can look at accommodating your request and/or add another boat.
Q: How do I get into Lake Jocassee?
A: The only way to get into the Lake for the public is through Devil's Fork State Park (161 Holcombe circle, Salem, SC). When you arrive you will be required to pay the park entrance fee (not included with tour price). Weekdays should not be a problem getting parking, but on weekends and holidays the park will often reach capacity 8:30am to 3pm, and not let anyone in during that time, however they do offer a [guaranteed parking pass](https://reserve.southcarolinaparks.com/devils-fork/day-use/).
Q: Do you rent boats?
A: No not at this time. We only do private guided boat tours around the lake so you can relax with your family and friends and let the Captain do the driving. If your first time on Lake Jocassee we recommend doing a guided tour vs. renting as the Captain knows exactly where all waterfalls are, history of lake, best spots to relax, etc.
